A couple of short hikes

After the heat this week foiling a couple of our hikes, we decided to go on two rather short, but beautiful hikes. It was a little chilly when we started, but soon warmed up nicely.

One short hike we did was the Mossy Cave hike within Bryce National Park, which is on the other side of the park and accessed via Scenic Rt. 12. The main highlights of this short hike was the waterfall and the mossy cave. Each is accessed at the end of the hike. If you walk one way, you end up at the Falls and see the view of some of the rock cliffs with the sun shining through. If you go the other way, you walk up to the mossy cave, which really isn't much.

We enjoyed the "redness" of the rock, and the color of the water. It looked fake, or like something we had seen before in Disneyworld. Hahahah. Without further ado, here are the pictures from that hike!

Next, we went back to Red Canyon, and went on a really terrific hike around the hoodoos. The trails were at the Visitor Center, and we combined the Hoodoo Trail, with the Pink Ledge trail and we were not disappointed! It was magnificent. The red rock formations, and the hoodoos were awesome. And very red, I might add! Haha! There was something around every bend in this hike!
