Unbelievable.....

Our next "home" was less than an hour from Flagg Ranch, so when we left,we did not hook up the car to tow. Tom was driving ahead of me in the RV, and I was following behind. As we were driving, I glanced to my right and literally....got tears in my eyes! The sight was unbelievable!! The Tetons were standing there tall and sharp, like a painting, and reflecting into the water. I guess I was not expecting to see that little gem. Of course, I was driving, so no pictures of that exact view that took my breath away. Overwhelming!

We arrived shortly at Colter Bay, where we will be staying for a few weeks. It is a gorgeous campground and we are so lucky to be here. Our conversations the first day here were "Can you believe this?", "Unbelievable", "Pinch me" and things like that. "Wow" is all I can say. Can you tell we are just besides ourselves?

Can you believe this awesome new backyard?
Our campsite is splendid....we are on the end, so we face the woods. There is a short trail through the woods that leads to the lake. Unbelievable! We can also take another trail through the woods to get to the Teton National Park Visitor Center (with many movies and a bookstore), a couple of restaurants (that we probably will never use), a grocery store (with real food in it....not just convenience foods) and another gift shop. Oh, and a huge laundry facility. Yeah!! Once again though, the internet and cell service is spotty.

Our first night here, at dusk, we headed out to Willow Flats and Oxbow Bend, which are the popular wildlife viewing areas here. We are looking for the elusive moose! Though we may not be seeing this shy mammal, we are certainly taking in the awesome scenery. It is like living in an painting. That is the only way I can describe it. You must come here for yourself! (We've been here before, and just listen to us....still in awe!)
